Highlights from past adventures and exciting projects to come.

MEMORIES FROM THE ROAD:  This musical compilation of clips, projects, and behind the scenes footage highlights the first few years of Random AZ adventures.  While much of the imagery is unfiltered and raw I hope to be able to show a glimpse into the wonderful world of Adventure Photography.

WHAT IS RANDOM-AZ?: What is Random-AZ....and what's going on with these Images? Check out this short video following adventurer-photographer Keith Robinson as he takes you through his creative journey from initial concept to final production. Random-AZ-Images.com is the ultimate reflection of Keith's passion for photography, the American Southwest, and willingness to push the limits just to "see what's out there". He's spent the last several years traveling to some of the most scenic and remote locations bringing back amazing imagery and share his sense of excitement and discovery with you.

OUT THERE: Sometimes things get a little weird when I'm "Out There" shooting in remote locations.  This musical slideshow includes new as well as vintage material highlighting just how wild and mysterious it can truly be.

PARADISE LOST:  Have you ever wanted to visit a modern ghost town? Wondered what happens when 95% of the citizens abandon an entire community? What if your town and livelihood were destroyed by human mistakes and nature's power? If so, check out the link and my video slideshow from the Salton Sea and how 50 years of time and neglect can take a bustling beach and recreation community and turn it into a tragic shell of its former glory.

SLEEPWALKERS:  A week in the Mojave desert takes three friends through a motorcycle journey they'll never forget.  Amazing and surreal experiences await wherever they go......from haunting art installations in the middle of nowhere, to dry salt beds, to sand dunes, to the famous "Racetrack Playa", where massive stones move over time under their own power due to unique combination of natural phenomena.  Many of these images are found in the main gallery, others are not, but this musical slideshow lends valuable perspective to the fantastic circumstances of their capture and creation.

NAKED BEAUTY:  Nature is impossibly beautiful to describe in the written word, or capture in a single photo.  This slideshow attempts to pay homage to our magnificent world utilizing both selected quotes from history, as well as several of Keith's favorite natural/environmental shots from his travels.

GONE AWAY:  The tagline for this slideshow is "The Passage of Time in the American Southwest", and it tightly focuses on the concepts of loss, decay, and abandonment.  Many of these locations have experienced some form of the boom/bust cycle so prevalent in this part of the world, and Keith attempts to capture both the energy and industry of those initial dreamers, as well as the current realities of those dreams faded or lost.

DEATH VALLEY:  This video shot entirely on a Go-Pro chronicles Keith's 2014 solo trip into America's most forbidding desert.  Most of the footage is shot "in the moment" as Keith explores various locations throughout the massive national park and surrounding areas, allowing viewers to come along for the journey and experience the same sense of wonder and excitement seen on Keith's face throughout.

FLATIRON:  If you live near Phoenix, you've heard about and most definitely seen Flatiron.  Standing several thousand feet higher than the surrounding Valley of The Sun, Flatiron Peak via the Siphon Train Draw is a challenging but rewarding climb for those fit enough.  Keith heads out with his friends Tony and Nate to tackle the trail and capture a series of sunset and evening shots.  This Go-Pro video is a behind the scenes look at the climb, the sights, and Keith's lack of fitness as he struggles to return from injury.

BREAKDOWN:  Similar in nature to the "Gone Away" video above, this slideshow highlights some of Keith's earlier work.  The visual style and editing are more raw than later work, but if anything this only serves to enhance the impact of the subject matter.
